The company's specialized transport trucks are equipped with all the features required by the legal provisions in force concerning movable cultural heritage, namely: air cushion suspensions, hydraulic lifts, continuous GPS coordination and the possibility of permanently tracking the location of the transport, padded interiors equipped with systems for anchoring/fixing the crates in which the objects are packed, environmental microclimate, controlled humidity, lighting values adapted to the category of goods transported, control of the UV component issued by the lighting sources;
Air transport
Thanks to its vast experience in the field of transport of art and heritage goods, TRANSGLOBUS ART SERVICES has in its portfolio a number of partner airline companies able to provide air cargo services at the level of safety required for transfers of heritage goods.
On request we can provide our clients with charter flights - large aircrafts specially dedicated to the exclusive transport of the exhibitions in question, anywhere in the world.
Thanks to well-established professional relationships, the artworls can be monitored at all times, right up to their final destination. We will obtain for you airport tarmac and runway entry permits (vehicles and personnel), courier transfer with tracking and assisting at loading operations of artworks in the aircraft and assistance for couriers at airport check-points.
Specialized packing systems for artworks and cultural heritage goods
Our transport crates are made according to the dimensions and specifics of the transported loans (type-dimensional) and the materials used for packing cultural heritage objects are compatible with their physical and chemical properties, ensuring protection against the following risk factors: shocks and vibrations, mechanical degradation, microclimatic variations, penetration of harmful liquids and gases, fire.
Handling / packing
The packing and crating of cultural heritage objects is carried out in accordance with the legislation in force and the rules of conservation of movable cultural property, being carried out by specialised personnel and complying with European standards, using the latest technologies and materials available on the market, ensuring full protection of the objects against risk factors.
The operations are carried out by specially trained personnel with extensive experience in this field, under the permanent supervision of an MCPN accredited Heritage Conservator from our company who participates in all transfers of heritage and of couriers accompanying the goods.

The issue of insurance policies for cultural heritage goods subject to internal or international transport is mandatory for the correct preparation of transport formalities.
TRANSGLOBUS ART SERVICES offers specialised insurance services for art works and cultural goods. The insurance conditions for the transport of works of art are advantageous, thanks to the use of high working standards and experience acquired over time. Among the most important types of insurance, our company offers, in addition to standard offers, a number of packages such as wall-to-wall / all-risk insurance or the exceptional risk insurance. Wall-to-wall insurance covers the entire duration of the event, starting from the moment the object is moved from the place of exhibit and ending when it returns, in the same state of preservation, to the original place from which it was moved. Exceptional risk insurance is a special package which involves adapting this service to the specific nature of each type of object transported and to the risks which the area where it will be moved may involve. (insurance against terrorism, war and political violence, confiscation by a foreign state, etc.).
Domestic/international military armed escort
Carried out in collaboration with the special forces of the General Inspectorate of Gendarmerie of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, our company being the only company with a permanent collaboration contract with DGJMB in this area of competence. For the security of the pieces abroad, we collaborate with the national police of the transit or destination countries as well as with the accredited security companies in this segment.
Full assistance to couriers
Representatives of cultural institutions throughout their travel in order to participate in the exhibitions (escort cars / accommodation / per diem in transit / etc).
Assistance and representation on behalf of the promoters with the authorities (MCPN, Heritage Department, customs authorities)
Following a mandate from the promoters, the museums owning the art objects, our company takes care of obtaining approvals and completing all the necessary formalities for the export / temporary or permanent import of the art objects participating in the exhibitions.

In the various aspects related to the organization and making an exhibition, throughout its entire duration, starting from the idea and ending with the opening of the exhibition (specialized transport / exhibition display and organisation / display systems).
